Henry Glenn

Henry Glenn is a 1968 graduate of Kashmere Gardens Jr Sr High School. He was a multi-talented running back as well as a three year track letterman. The Rams was District Champ his senior season with an 8-0-2 record before falling to Bellaire in the city championship game before an overflow crowd at Jeppesen Stadium. Glenn was a member of the All-District and City teams and voted Kashmere “Most Valuable Offensive Back”. He earned a scholarship to Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas.  At A&I Henry become a premier back as he earned All Lone Star Conference running back honors. His 1969-1970 Texas A&I Javelina football teams won the National Title compiling a 22-2 record. The 1969-70 team was inducted into the New York   Life/Javelina Hall of Fame. Henry worked as a graduate assistant in 1973 before graduating with Bachelor of Science degree in 1974
